baby zuri!

this weekend i had the opportunity to help host a baby shower for one of my bests. sherry is adopting a baby girl from ethiopia, as a single mom. she had her official court date back in may, and as of now ethiopia recognizes zuri as sherry's baby! she will travel to bring zuri home hopefully sometime in july.

sherry and i had a chance to share a margarita last week and catch up. she told me that the joy of this process is like none other than she's ever experienced. it is such a beautiful thing to watch and be a part of. an HONOR, i should say.

it was amazing to see the huge group of women gathered, to celebrate this beautiful baby girl. zuri is so loved! here are a few pictures from the special day!
